“The doctor seems to know his stuff and communicates well , listens well, and pays attention to detail. The office does not reflect any of this. It is cluttered, disorganized, and left me wondering when it was last cleaned. While waiting for my colonoscopy I considered getting dressed and leaving. I had done the prep and wanted it over with, so I stayed. I had never had an in-office procedure so that should be taken into account - was accustomed to surgical centers.
The lack of attention to the physical environment made me uncomfortable and wondering if the doc was trying to maximize profit by not reinvesting in the facility, but there is no evidence to support this - I had a good experience with the doc.”

I’m very disappointed with my visit today. I was in and out within five minutes, and the doctor seemed rushed and uninterested in addressing my concerns. I felt uncomfortable and unheard during the appointment. It did not feel thorough or professional. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

What stood out was that the receptionist was maybe the kindest most thoughtful receptionist I’ve ever encountered (Margaret). I can’t say enough good things about her.
The doctor however made me really uncomfortable. He was a male and didn’t ask if I wanted a female present (no nurse, just me and him). There were no robes and it was a very quick drop your trousers, lie on the table and go rectal exam which was really painful. There were a bunch of people in the waiting room, and his secretary said he goes very quickly, but when you’re dealing with such a sensitive area and when you are in so much pain there should be a better bedside manner, and as a female, I think there should be an option to have a woman in the room.

Would not recommend seeing this Dr. I made a video visit appointment through Zocdoc for them to call me an hour before my visit to tell me that this Dr doesn’t do video visits ?? She offered for me to have a very brief phone call with him which lasted no more than 2 minutes probably because he was distracted by something that was going on in the background that I heard. Told him my symptoms and before asking any questions or even attempting to rule anything out, he just tells me that he needs to exam me in person and just dismissed me.
