About Dr. Jonathan Hemli
Dr. Hemli obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Sydney, Australia’s oldest university; he was Valedictorian of his class. During his residency, Dr. Hemli earned a Masters’ Degree in Biopharmaceuticals at the University of New South Wales. Dr Hemli completed his training in Cardiothoracic Surgery, undertaking Advanced Fellowships at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
As a practicing Cardiac Surgeon for over a decade, Dr Hemli served as the Surgical Director of Research for the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and held an academic appointment as Associate Professor of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals, has authored a number of textbook chapters, and has regularly presented at national and international scientific meetings. He is an active member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society.

I would say I had a very comfortable experience. The doctor takes time to have a little chat with you, and the staff is very friendly. And I would highly recommend you visit them

I had two confirmed appointments with Dr. Jonathan Hemli — both times the office confirmed the visit a day before and even offered earlier time slots, only to cancel on the same day. This repeated pattern feels very disrespectful of patients’ time and needs. I’ve lost trust in the doctor’s professionalism and reliability. I hope the clinic improves its scheduling and communication practices.
