After earning a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Jonathan Olsen, M.D. obtained a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, where he served as chief resident his senior year and was awarded Resident of the Year. He stayed at Beaumont in Royal Oak to complete a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology. Dr. Olsen is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology. After graduation, he functioned as lead Interventional Radiologist at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. In 2016, he returned to Beaumont Royal Oak and served as Assistant Professor of Radiology, providing dedicated IR lectures for medical students and training radiology residents and fellows of various subspecialties. He has authored and co-authored multiple papers and presentations ranging from basic anatomy review to management of intraprocedural sedation.
