What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner began in my early 20s, when I worked as a direct support provider for adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Supporting families as they navigated the challenges of daily life and witnessing their struggle to access high-quality psychiatric care for their family members inspired me to pursue advanced training in psychiatric nursing. Those early experiences shaped my understanding of what compassionate, accessible mental health care can mean for individuals and their families. That formative period continues to deepen my commitment to providing the kind of thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care every person deserves today.
