What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative, and personalized approach to care. I believe that every person has a unique story, and I take the time to truly listen and understand what you're experiencing before making recommendations. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your treatment. I work with adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, stress, burnout, sleep concerns, and other mental health challenges. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or have tried treatment in the past and are looking for a fresh approach, I want you to know that there is hope and that meaningful progress is possible. I believe mental health and physical health are closely connected, so I take a whole-person approach to treatment. Together, we'll look at your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, stressors, and personal goals to create a plan that makes sense for you. Treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and practical coping strategies to help you feel better and function at your best. I also want new patients to know that progress doesn't happen overnight, and that's okay. Mental health care is a journey, and I'm committed to supporting you every step of the way. I encourage open communication, and I welcome questions and feedback so we can adjust your treatment as your needs evolve. Above all, I want you to know that you don't have to go through this alone. My priority is to help you feel empowered, supported, and confident as we work together toward improved mental wellness, greater balance, and a better quality of life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach begins with getting to know you as a person, not just your symptoms. During our first appointment, we'll spend time discussing what brought you in, your current concerns, your medical and mental health history, past treatments, lifestyle factors, and the goals you hope to achieve. I want to understand the full picture so that we can develop a treatment plan that is tailored specifically to your needs. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to care. Together, we'll discuss your diagnosis, answer any questions you may have, and review treatment options that align with your goals and preferences. Depending on your needs, treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and practical coping strategies to help you better manage symptoms and improve your overall well-being. Follow-up visits are focused on monitoring your progress, discussing any changes you've noticed, and making adjustments to your treatment plan when needed. Mental health is not one-size-fits-all, and I believe ongoing communication is essential to achieving the best results. My goal is to help you feel supported, informed, and actively involved throughout the process. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, stress, sleep concerns, and many other mental health conditions. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or returning to treatment after some time away, I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences. My hope is that every patient leaves feeling heard, understood, and confident that we are working together toward meaningful and lasting improvement in their mental health and quality of life.
