“I can't say enough good things about my son's Psychiatrist. From the very first appointment, He showed genuine compassion, patience and professionalism. He takes the time to listen to both us and our son, and I really love the way he connects with my teenager - it's not easy to find someone a teen will truly open up to. Seeing my son feel comfortable and understood has meant so much to us.
The staff is also amazing, always friendly, quick to respond and easy to work with and the remote appointments have been a huge help. the online visit run smoothly and make everything so convenient for our busy schedule.
We've had such a great experience with him, and I'm really grateful for all the support he has given our family. Definitely recommend! ”

Hello, I’m José González Román, a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. Originally from Puerto Rico, I’ve spent my life recognizing the importance of mental health and understanding the need for accessible care. Over the past 8 years as a nurse practitioner, I've gained extensive experience in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges.
Driven by a passion to make a difference, I founded my own practice with the goal of offering high-quality, compassionate psychiatric care to individuals across the state of Florida. My practice operates through telehealth, making it easier for anyone in Florida to receive the support they need regardless of location. I’m proud to offer services in Spanish and Portuguese too, and I work with various insurance providers as well as self pay options, ensuring that mental health care is accessible and affordable for all. I truly believe in the power of mental health care to transform lives, and I am here to help those who seek the support and healing they deserve.
Our telehealth platform is designed to offer an accessible and safe environment for individuals to discuss their mental health concerns, receive psychiatric evaluations, and work through treatment plans all from the privacy and security of their own space. My experience at Balance Healing Solutions Psychiatry has been excellent. Jose is a great Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner because he has excellent communication skills, bedside manners and empathy. He listens to my concerns and answers all my questions. He makes me feel at ease and above all, he shows genuine care and he shows interests in improving my health. He makes me feel that I am at the center of what he does while I am in a visit with me.
