About Dr. Joseph Cook
In my career, I have progressed from a student to a Peace Corps volunteer, then to a teacher, and now a doctor. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Ohio University, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. I also completed a fellowship at the same institution and hold a Master's degree from Tulane University. With over 20 years of experience working as a physician, I am committed to providing compassionate care. Outside of work, I enjoy listening to music and engaging in sports such as boxing, wrestling, and running. Actively listening to my patients helps me become a better caregiver.

I was able to get an appointment at the last moment with ease. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Cook was great and took his time listening and gave easy to understand explanations to complex topics, which is hard to find in a doctor. Definitely will come back in the future.

I want to thank Dr.Cook and the staff. What a wonderful appointment. I was welcomed with a smile and postive attitude. Friendly voice. I was promptly taken back to my appointment. Great first appointment. Dr. Cook was friendly, knowledgeable, engaged and occasionally funny. I don't need my PCP to be my best friend, but I want to be heard. He listened, asked pertinent questions and made good recommendations. I hope he will be my doctor for years and years!
