About Dr. Joseph Fleck
Joseph R. Fleck, DPM, FACFAS, is a fellowship-trained podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon. He specializes in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical care of the foot and ankle. Dr. Fleck takes special interest in complicated revision cases such as reconstruction corrective surgery, ankle joint replacement, limb salvage surgery, and arthroscopy.
Dr. Fleck treats all conditions of the foot and ankle including but not limited to Achilles tendon ruptures, tendinitis, ankle sprains, arthritis, fractures, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Charcot, flatfoot, high arch, bone spurs, bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, and other deformities.
Dr. Fleck completed his medical training at Kent State University, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He went on to complete a residency in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT, serving as Chief Resident. He furthered his training with a fellowship at the American Foundation of Lower Extremity Surgery and Research (AFLESR) in Alamogordo, NM, where he gained expertise in advanced surgical and reconstructive techniques.

On my referral sheet after the appointment, the doctor marked down the wrong issue that I was seeking treatment for. Felt like I wasn’t listened to and rushed out. All of the other employees in the office were very kind and helpful.
