About Dr. Joseph Kelly

Dr. Joseph Kelly began his career in chiropractic care in 2021 when he founded Truecare Chiropractic & Rehab in Fairfax, Virginia. In 2022, he expanded his impact by joining a network of clinics across Washington, D.C., where he serves as a Senior Clinic Practitioner and Operations Manager for six locations throughout the DMV area. In these dual roles, he combines hands-on clinical care with strategic oversight, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence. “Being a chiropractor provides a unique opportunity to help individuals achieve optimal health and wellness through non-invasive, holistic approaches,” says Dr. Kelly. “It’s fulfilling to reduce pain, restore mobility, and enhance patients’ quality of life. I’m committed to building trust and truly understanding each patient's specific needs and challenges.” A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Kelly is a proud owner of a goldendoodle named Doobey and enjoys golfing and traveling in his free time. He is an avid foodie with a deep appreciation for Washington, D.C.'s diverse culinary scene and is always open to conversations about food culture, golf, and tennis. Dr. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Chemistry from Georgia State University. He later earned a Master of Public Health and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, followed by a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. His passion for chiropractic care was ignited in 2012 after experiencing first-hand recovery from sports injuries and motor vehicle accidents. “My own health challenges, including gastrointestinal issues, were greatly improved through chiropractic adjustments, particularly at the thoraco-lumbar junction,” he shares. Specializing in sports chiropractic and pain management, Dr. Kelly incorporates a subluxation-based model into clinical practice.
