About Dr. Joseph Lezamiz

Dr. Joseph Lezamiz is a 1990 graduate of New York Chiropractic College, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with clinical honors. He also holds a bachelor's degree from Hofstra University. He is one of a handful of chiropractors in New York State to hold hospital privileges in metro NYC. Dr. Lezamiz has dedicated his professional career to focusing on a multidisciplinary approach to back pain.
He is also committed to the rehabilitation and ongoing care of athletes. Dr. Lezamiz makes every attempt to get athletes back on the field in the shortest time possible while limiting the damage they may cause while performing. He has extensive experience working with elite athletes and has served as a team physician for the ING NYC Marathon for the past nine years, treating hundreds of runners with a myriad of injuries.
