About Dr. Joseph Loiodice

Dr. Loiodice is a Board Certified Family Physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been practicing on Long Island for over 25 years, providing personalized health care for the entire family. Dr. Loiodice completed premed at Brooklyn and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine. He interned at St. Vincent’s Hospital through New York Medical College. He was a Pediatrics resident at Methodist Hospital, then completed the SUNY Stony Brook Family Medicine residency program at South Nassau Communities Hospital. He served as Chief Resident in his third year and received the Chief Resident Award. Dr. Loiodice is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, teaching first-year medical students in their introduction to clinical medicine. He also precepts nurse practitioner students from SUNY Stony Brook. From 2002 to 2007, Dr. Loiodice was appointed and served as a member of the Suffolk County Board of Health. He continues to provide personalized healthcare for all, emphasizing preventive health and delivering acute and chronic care with compassion.
