Dr. Tawil obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He then completed his residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center.

This is the first time I’ve had to visit a cardiologist. Despite my circumstances,
Dr. Tawil was friendly, caring and extremely thorough. He actually listens, he’s empathetic, and doesn’t judge for past indiscretions. More practitioners need to display humility like Dr. Tawil.

I really can’t be effusive enough in my praise & appreciation for Dr. Tawil and his staff thus far. They were able to get same day authorization with my insurance company to have another procedure. All in all there office worked together for about 3 hours coordinating my care and treatment plan.
I have been out of the hospital for 3 days now and see Dr. Tawil next week. I’ll up date you with my follow up experience.

Dr. Tawil was AMAZING. Really smart, thoughtful, and most importantly, very thorough. I am pretty young and healthy, and he still took my case extremely seriously, consulted with additional sub-specialists and got back to me right away. Furthermore, I asked him for some cumbersome paperwork for my insurance and he kindly and quickly obliged. Awesome experience overall. Really really great guy. His staff was top notch too!

I randomly found Dr. Tawil on the internet, and decided to see him based on the reviews. No doubt, it was one of the smartest decisions i have made. Dr. Tawil and his team are very professional, polite and patience. They attended to me and answered every questions that I may have concerning my chest pain. Doctor is very attentive - checked me out and got me back to normal in two visits. First visit, there was barely any wait, second visit took a bit of time. Regardless, waiting in a doctor's office is a necessary evil. Would recommend and go back to the doctor in the future.

Im 24 and don't fancy doctor visits. I, as a patient, like to know and understand what my doctor diagnoses therefore I really respect professionals that can explain to a novice what is going on. Doctor Tawil was very professional and kind and above all able to explain to me what the issues with my heart were in a way that I understood and it made total sense. From first impressions, I would definitely recommend this doctor to family and friends. The staff I met was also very nice and fun.

Very short wait even considering that it was a first visit. The doctor and the office assistants performed several tests in the same visit with minimal wait in between. The doctor then explained the results clearly and in a friendly and considerate manner.
