Dr Huang runs this office like a physical therapy center, which is not bad if you need p/t, however her bedside manner is snide and judgey. The last thing you need in a doctor.

I only saw her for my initial appointment, she asked me a great amount of questions perhaps to find a reason behind the back ache. She assessed my posture and gave me pointers. After finishing speaking with her acupuncturist, which Ihave been seeing for the past weeks, I adore! She is very kind and gentle. Always leaves my back feeling relieved.

I arrived late after getting suck on the Q train but Dr. Huang was still able to see me. I deeply appreciated that she took her time asking me questions about what was going on, and took time to examine meto determine what was happening in my body. She explained everything in-depth and I never felt rushed.

Seemed initially helpful and prescribed physical therapy. I could not work with the hours her team offered and they then refused to provide a prescription for me to receive PT from any other providers/locations.

Very unethical business. They took my appointment for acupuncture, I provided my insurance information. Only when I got to their office they informed me my insurance does not cover the service. My insurance does cover the cost.

Enter only if you are Chinese. Huang depended on her team almost exclusively - the technician was extremely unprofessional and rude. VERY little communication unless forced. Don't bother.

Had difficulty understanding this doctor. I went for two weeks of treatment as recommended by her, at her office. While she was nice, the treatment was a waste - they did not help at all. I went to another doctor fora second opinion who was able to clearly articulate my condition and what it meant. Further, the other doctor recommended PT treatment at other facilities that have been able to meaningfully improve my condition.

Zocdoc has my insurance information, and it was provided the office when I booked the appointment. Nothing was said when they call to confirm the appointment.. Don't have me come all the way from Staten Island to Chinatown knowing that myinsurance actually did not cover acupuncture. While I place a little bit of the blame on ZocDoc for this comma for listing this as a covered service. I placed most of the blame on the doctor's office. At any point they could have called me and allowed it to be my decision. But, no. Instead, they had me come all the way there, and called it a consultation so they could bill my insurance. Basically it was a sales pitch for me to pay cash for the acupuncture. At an exorbitant rate in 10 visit blocks. I am on a fixed income awaiting disability, that is so outside the realm of possibility it's comical. Why couldn't they just communicate this before I hiked all the way there in pain? They couldn't even refill my medication. Another office where it's all about swipe swipe swipe, bill that insurance, not about patient care.

I really enjoyed speaking with Dr. Huang, and I she provided me very helpful information. I was there for about 10 sessions, which helped me a lot, but I got to be honest, that her recommendation of to change some ofmy lifestyle in order to defeat the pain were just as helpful as the treatment itself. Thank you, Dr. Huang!

I came here for acupuncture treatment of chronic neck and upper back pain. I came for 4 visits over the course of two weeks. I've had extensive acupuncture done at three different practitioners over the last 4 years, always with greatresults, but this place was just meh. The placement of the needles by the acupuncturist was very generic and shallow. I never received the tension relief or healing benefits I usually feel after a single sessions, even after going twice weekly for two weeks. I've since taken my money and muscle tension elsewhere, to much better result.

I just had my first appointment and was really pleasantly surprised by how thorough Dr. Huang was. She really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and sort through all components of my lifestyle to figure how Ican maximize my health. She's very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. After an in-depth consultation, she did a physical evaluation and recommended multiple exercises and stretches for me to implement into my daily routine. After that, I was taken into another room for a 30-minute acupuncture session, where another practitioner administered the needles under Dr. Huang's supervision. After that, a 10-minute session of warm towels placed over the acupuncture areas were the cherry on top of a great experience. I'm looking forward to my second session next week.

I went to this doctor with the hope of being prescribed an MRI due to chronic back pain. Because my pain wasn't severe enough she said it was her opinion I didn't need one. I explained to her that because I'man athlete, I move better than the average person, but that doesn't mean my pain isn't abnormal and shouldn't be addressed. She completely invalidated my concerns and would not give me a referral. From her comments she clearly doesn't even lift weights herself. How can you assess someone's level of spinal dysfunction without personal experience? She was also wearing pointed shoes which will cause her to develop bunions someday....which makes me question her overall intelligence as a doctor.

I was called in without any waiting, and Dr. Huang listened calmly and carefully as I answered her questions about the reason for my visit. She proceededto skillfully do an exam and explain what the next steps would be. I felt in very good hands.
