Josephine Jimenez, CCC - SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist
CA
Hi! I'm Josephine. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2019. I dedicate my career as an SLP to my mother, Myrna Bartolome who passed away in March 2021. She was the reason why I discovered the field of Speech-Language Pathology in 2012. From then on, my passion for the field remains strong. I have worked as an SLP for about 4 years and continue to strive and work hard each day to help all of my clients with a wide array of speech and language disorders. Some of my experiences include working with individuals with autism, articulation and phonological disorders, early intervention, preschool and school-age language disorders, fluency disorders as well as working with adults with aphasia. Overall, I am dedicated to the social and emotional well-being of each client and make it a goal to ensure that each client receives the best form of therapy, love, care, and support that they all deserve. I look forward to working alongside clients and their families in making this a very fun, memorable, and positive experience in therapy. I've worked in private practice and I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client-empowerment to create self-advocates.
