About Josephine Kallah
Josephine Kallah is a Certified Physician Assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
Her interest in dermatology was driven by a personal journey navigating the challenges of acne. Intrigued by the complexity of dermatological conditions that may present as external manifestations, she is dedicated to creating treatment plans tailored to each individual patient. She is passionate about aesthetic medicine such as laser treatments, micro needling, PRP injections and chemical peels to achieve optimal results.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University and obtained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from St. John’s University. Josephine completed three years of Physician Assistant school, which consisted of both didactic and clinical studies and did various rotations in medically underserved communities, making her more effective in providing compassionate care. Her elective rotations were dermatology and plastic surgery.
After graduating, she began her career by completing Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program, which combines rigorous academic and extensive hands-on training from top dermatology providers with rigorous academic oversight and instruction. This allowed her to gain extensive experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Josephine enjoys practicing in all fields of dermatology, specifically cases that involve hands-on procedures such as injectables, excisions and repairs.

I cannot recommend Josephine Kallah enough. As for the office, I was seen immediately, front desk and PA assistants were very kind, and the check in process was not long. It was also extremely clean. I had originally booked this appointment because I was dissatisfied with my previous dermatologist, and it was important to me to have a woman doctor. Once she came in (and the wait was not long), she was able to immediately diagnose the issue with my skin. She was able to diminish and reverse the problems with the previous doctor and set me up with the multiple medications I needed. I immediately booked a follow up appointment.

I was not taken seriously by a previous dermatologist.I left there office wanting to cry with no answers.
Here I was listened to and given the proper medicine to help. Explaining possibilities and treatment.
Plus biopsy and skin scrapping to confirm. This time I left with happy tears in my eyes because someone really listened to me. I know I will get an answer to my ailment.
I highly recommend Josephine Kallah PA to anyone who wants a caring, compassionate and understanding PA to help get to the bottom of the situation you are suffering with.
The entire office staff was warm and caring and the office is very new and clean. I can’t recommend it enough.

Walking into this place was so bright and aesthetically pleasing. Everything was nice neat tidy they even have a cute little coffee and tea section. The staff is so sweet, energetic and extremely polite. The customer service was exceptionally perfect. The doctor was amazing and very understanding and helped me can’t wait to continue my journey with them.
