About Dr. Joshua Farhadian
Joshua Farhadian, M.D., F.A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon with advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. He is an Assistant Professor at both Yale School of Medicine and New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Farhadian graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine, where he graduated with Honors. While at New York University, Dr. Farhadian completed a research fellowship with the Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group and received the Marion B. Sulzberger Award for Excellence in Dermatology. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Farhadian completed his internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and his residency at New York University School of Medicine. During residency, he was elected Chief Resident and received the Morris Leider Award for Best Graduating Resident.
After residency, Dr. Farhadian pursued further specialty training at Yale University School of Medicine, where he completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology.
Dr. Farhadian is an honorary medical officer of the Fire Department of New York. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters. His research has been supported by grants from the American Medical Association and American Skin Association. He has lectured at regional and national meetings.

Lots of positive to say. The office was super clean which made for a very positive experience. Very friendly staff as I was waiting to see the doctor. I was quite impressed with the doctor’s bedside manners, the questions he asked and his extreme intellect, that was quite evident to me. I would definitely see Dr. Farhadian if able to. Not so easy to find a practicing dermatologist and a Mohs surgeon, with superb academic qualifications, one of huge intellect, along with a great disposition and friendly, immaculate office. Highly recommend!

A very good doctor as far as I’m concerned
Well….I’m not one for reviewing anyone. I’m also not the kind of person who frequently goes to a doctor. If your looking for a human doctor that treats you like a human being and not a number.
Then Dr. Farhadian is without a doubt the best
He was very informative and communicated very well, his office is spotless, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable, (unlike what I’ve experienced long ago ).

Beautiful, clean and modern office. Very friendly front desk team member Theresa. The assistant and the dr listened to me and provided feedback and suggestions. Follow up appt is 1/23 to remove cyst which was primary reason for visit. Will recommend this office. It’s in a multi-specialty building that offers complimentary valet. A++

Dr. Farhadian is amazing! Not only did he listen and address all my concerns, but he even asked me if I had any other concerns! He treated me so well that I immediately texted friends and family that they need to have Dr. Farhadian as their dermatologist! Front desk was super nice and helpful, the office is upscale and clean. I found out short notice that my previous dermatologist no longer accepted my insurance. I was able to book and see Dr.Farhadian for a same day appointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I arrived. When I was brought in to see the doctor he was very kind, thorough, and patient; 100x better than my last dermatologist.

Dr was great!! Very patient and very good listener! Genuinely cares about my concern because I am very nervous when it comes to pain. He made sure I was comfortable, and gave me extreme numbing meds to help ease the procedure. He goes extremely slow with the lidocaine injection as sometimes it can cause the burdening sensation when it’s push too fast. He constantly asked if I was okay or I feel any pain. I have to say im a person with very low tolerance for pain but on a scale of 1 to 10 with my moh surgery my pain was 1. Great doctor
