Didn’t not listen to needs or past medical history
Well if I were suicidal I would be dead by now or on my way out. Why are front desk staff being out in a position to ask me about my medication where everyone else can hear? Why are front desk staff being put in a position to screen out whether I am appropriate to be seen? If I am making an appointment several days in the past and then show up for appointment why am I being told this provider only sees acute conditions. It takes 5-15 minutes to have a conversation with a patient to determine if they need your help or can be taken care of somewhere else. I just got off a 16 hour shift the night before am completely exhausted had to get up without much sleep drive to a doctors office just to be turned away. Wonder if I was a suicidal patient and I needed help? Am really expected to tell the front desk staff that?sitting in a meeting right now where they are telling us how to get help what a complete joke.
