Getting to know Dr. Joshua Levy

Hi, I'm Dr. Levy! I bring the clinical expertise of a Board-Certified Medical Doctor with fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from UC Davis Medical Center, residency at UC Davis, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. I also hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester. Alongside this training, I offer the warmth, intuition, and insight of a therapist. My work, ranging from supporting at-risk individuals on suicide hotlines to helping teens and adults overcome life's toughest challenges, has been guided by both evidence-based care and genuine compassion. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and addiction. My integrative approach combines talk therapy, medication management, and lifestyle coaching, including physician-guided precision nutrition. This allows me to tailor treatment plans that support both mental and physical wellness, going far beyond what traditional, insurance-based practices typically provide. In my practice, you can expect comprehensive, personalized care designed to empower lasting change. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of thriving. My office is a safe, judgment-free space where your concerns are taken seriously and your well-being is the top priority. Whether you are a parent seeking help for your teen or an adult ready to take control of your mental health, I'm here to help you move forward with clarity, connection, and confidence. Don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can chart a path toward healing and growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During your teenager's first appointment with me, we will get to know each other and I will discover exactly what is holding them back from living their best, healthiest life. I will formulate a plan based on that initial assessment which uses a myriad of therapy and medical modalities to help them live a happy, purpose-filled life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My practice specializes in particularly resistant conditions, using detail-focused holistic treatments and targeted therapy. This is a whole-health psychiatric practice is unlike any other. A typical treatment plan will be complete in 4-10 sessions, depending on what your child is struggling with. You will notice improvements in your teenager's health after just TWO sessions!
