“As soon as I walked in I was greeted politely and with a few laughs. the receptionist was very knowledgeable and accommodating to my unsureness of how to answer a few questions on the paperwork.
As soon as I finished I was called back after waiting for about 2 and a half mins the doctor walked in and I was very comfortable talking with him. I don't usually feel this comfortable when going to even the offices. I hadn't been to a doctor for about 3-4yrs so this was a really friendly environment and the doctor made me feel no pressure about if I chose to continue seeing him or not. He also made it very clear that it's important for knee to feel safe and trusting with whomever I choose to be on my care team. That alone made me feel so much better about coming here to Macht. I'm very happy with my visit. ”

The staff is what stood out for me they were very sweet, the suite itself was well organized and clean, and have everything in one place like X-rays and blood work, etc. The reason why I said maybe for the doctor because of it being my first time.

While the office is a little older looking, it is very clean and everyone was very friendly. I was the only person there, was seen right away, felt unrushed, and had clear communication throughout. I would definitely go back and felt like the doctor was very attentive and focused on the appointment and reviewing any relevant history and concerns.

Friendly staff, clean and well maintained facility, great communication before/during/after visit, doctor is a very good listener, asks appropriate questions and shows interest in the patient. Based on my first visit, I highly recommend.

We really just like Dr. (Joshua) Macht. We've been seeing him for years and think he's the greatest. It's a family practice instead of a massive provider, and we feel like that is really positive for the level of care and attention we get. Everyone working at the office has been there for years - they have great retention of the people who work there. Even going back to the office in-person for the first time in two years, it was like seeing old friends because of all the familiar faces.

Great doctor, great staff, nice office facilities, easy parking. Shortest wait I’ve ever had to be seen by the actual doctor. Dr. Macht was very thorough, listened very well, and didn’t want to just pump me full of meds right away. Really feels like a well rounded approach to health.

Pros: clean office, friendly and professional staff, timely appointments, nurses are attentive and you are welcomed upon arrival.
My individual experience: For the few years that I’ve been coming to Dr. Macht, my visits have largely been monotonous, but one of his major focuses has always been my weight and how I should be losing it. Outside of that detail, a number that has remained the same with each visit, I maintain a very healthy lifestyle. My blood work numbers also look good (as verified by more than one practitioner). During my last visit, when the question of weight came up again, I asked if we could focus on me being healthy instead of my weight.
He didn’t like this suggestion at all. He rose from his seat and gave a full lecture on the BMI system and all the things I was more likely to die from because of my number. Then he took off his gloves and did not finish the exam, he left the room.
So, if you’re like me and you don’t fit squarely into this number system or if you are seeking a doctor more in tune with Health At Every Size, I would recommend going elsewhere. At the end of the day, I want my doctor, who is essentially a partner in my health, to see me as more than just a number.
