Dr. Joshua Ruvalcava grew up learning about the practice of medicine with his mother being a night shift nurse. Every morning, she would come home and share her stories about different cases at the breakfast table. These stories are what led him to pursue a career in healthcare where he could make a difference and play a role in collaborative care team. Dr. Ruvalcava knew early on in his chiropractic schooling that he was not going to be a traditional chiropractor. He believes that a multidisciplinary approach to holistic care puts the patient in the best position for successful results. With a background in exercise science, Dr. Ruvalcava adheres to the idea that motion is lotion and the key to comfortable longevity in life. Outside of practicing, Dr. Ruvalcava’s wellness comes from trying new foods with his fiancé and spending quality time with family, friends and his two dogs.
