“I had a great experience with Joshua Shapiro, PA (Josh) today 14Aug2026, and would highly recommend him. Scheduling through Zocdoc was easy, and I was able to confirm my insurance by phone beforehand. The staff was friendly, check-in was simple, and I was seen quickly after arriving.
Josh was personable, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. He has excellent bedside manner and took time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly evaluate my condition, and explain everything clearly. He prescribed appropriate treatment without making the visit feel rushed.
I especially appreciated his knowledge and experience with Black and Brown skin. It’s important to have a dermatology provider who understands how conditions can present on melanated skin, and I felt very comfortable and confident in his care.
I left feeling heard, respected, and well cared for. I’m glad I found this practice and look forward to my follow-up. Highly recommend!”

About Joshua Shapiro
Joshua Shapiro is a Physician Assistant specializing in medical and pediatric dermatology. He began his career earning an Associate of Applied Science in Paramedic Medicine before completing his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
Joshua is passionate about providing compassionate, family-centered care, treating each patient as if they were his own family. He is dedicated to supporting children and adults alike through both short-term concerns and long-term skin conditions, helping them feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.
