About Joshua Tueting
Joshua Tueting, is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. He graduated from Marquette University in 2012. Since that time he has worked with adults in family medicine and internal medicine to help them achieve their health goals. Most recently Josh has worked at CU Boulder with the student population. He has also studied alternative medicine under several providers including Chinese herbalists, functional medicine and lifestyle medicine providers.
Josh goes above and beyond traditional medicine. He makes sure his patients are seen and treated as an individuals. He will spend time with you, getting to know you and fully understanding your health concerns.
Josh offers wellness services for female and male patients, including hormone replacement therapy for perimenopause/menopause, low testosterone and thyroid concerns. As well as skin concerns, annual physicals, and preventative care and general primary care concerns (asthma, high blood pressure/cholesterol, illnesses).
While he does see patients for anxiety and depression, he is not a psychiatrist and is not able to see patients or prescribe medications for bipolar or other mental health disorders. She offers in person visits at her office in Lyons, CO as well as telehealth (virtual visits).
Josh’s primary objective in medicine is to tailor each plan based on the individual’s history, lifestyle, and primary goals. I would definitely recommend him. He was thorough in explaining everything related to my health and care, and made sure I fully understood each step. He arrived promptly for the appointment and was both kind and understanding throughout. What really stood out was that he encouraged me to schedule a follow-up after my lab work, so he could go over the results in detail — something I’ve rarely experienced before. In the past, I’ve often received labs with little to no explanation, so this level of attention was really refreshing.

Josh is a respectful, on-time provider but I just felt like I was left unsatisfied because I booked an urgent care appt for a reason. Did not get the medication I've requested to refill that I've been stable on for over a year, not sure I agree with the medical opinion and don't feel like there's much I can do about it besides continue to go unmedicated which I communicated is dangerous. Very frustrating but also not my first time with this experience in the american healthcare system.
