What is your typical process for working with clients?
We’ll start with an initial session where I get to know you—your challenges, goals, and what’s been working (or not working) for you so far. I really take the time to listen and understand your whole picture, not just your symptoms. This gives me a clear understanding of where you're coming from, and we can create a treatment plan that’s all about you. Whether it’s medication management, lifestyle changes, or other holistic approaches, everything we do together will be tailored to your needs and what feels right for you.
Throughout our time working together, I want you to feel like we’re partners in this process. We’ll check in regularly to make sure things are working for you, and if something’s not quite right, we’ll adjust as needed. You lead the way, and I’m here to support your journey.

Mrs. Misic is an exceptional PMHNP. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly takes the time to listen and understand my concerns. I never feel rushed, and her treatment plans are thoughtful, evidence-based, and individualized. I self-pay to see her because my insurance does not cover her services, and the level of care she provides makes it absolutely worth it. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking high-quality psychiatric care.

Great experiences always!!! She has helped me switch my medications so I feel human again. She's funny and real and to the point but still holds my hand when I need it. I blab a lot and am all over the place but I've never felt unheard or gotten a robot response from her. I love how she celebrates my wins with me no matter how small or big and makes me feel like I matter.

I was a patient for about 1 year. Everything was fine and smooth. Started off with Erica Hand and then was switched to another provider (Jovana) based on availability. They took my insurance. They make you put a card on file so i did. I had a lapse of insurance for a few months so i was self pay for 1 visit. I had a visit this past week and they charged my card on file even though i uploaded my insurance card before the visit (the same insurance) and the provider assured me during the visit that they were going to submit to my insurance. After i was charged i called and they said they will submit to insurance and it will be taken care of so i can get a refund. I then received a text saying “ Hello! Upon verifying, unfortunately, we are not accepting your insurance plan. In the future, if you still wish to be seen, all appointments must be paid out of pocket. Regarding yesterday's appointment, you can submit reimbursement to your insurance.” Clarified that they are in network. Just lazy

I was really nervous my first visit because of previous bad experiences and JoJo really put me at ease with no judgment. She actually listened to my blabbing and gave me a lot of resources. Mrs Misic is by far the provider I have been searching for. She takes the time to listen to you and really understand what your needs are. She is empathetic and compassionate. She takes the time to understand you as an individual not just another person in her patient room. She provides a treatment plan to fit my health and makes proper adjustments as needed because she listens to what I have been going through and formed a successful plan for me and my health needs. It is always a pleasant visit and welcoming environment.
