About Dr. Joyce Kong
Dr. Joyce Kong, born and raised in NYC, is a medical and cosmetic dermatologist. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry and earned her medical degree at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed internal medicine internship at NYC Health+Hospitals/Queens and dermatology residency at Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center.
Dr. Kong treats a variety of conditions, including but not limited to acne, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, skin cancer, and complex medical conditions. She believes in a holistic approach and personalizes treatment regimens for her patients. She is currently seeing patients in Queens and Manhattan.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Kong is spending time with her cats and dog. She enjoys outdoor activities and exploring new places.

I haven't seen by this doctor. I specifically booked a dermatologist for my issue. 2 hours before the appointment, I got a call from the Office of the doctor for asking if I would be fine with rescheduling the appointment to the next day, without informing me that I'll be seen by a different doctor (Physician assistant). By far the best last minute appointment made. I was a new to Dr. Kong but felt like a long time patient. Within 5 minutes of checking in, I was called to be seen before finishing filling out the forms. She took a look at my skin and diagnosed/ prescribed what I needed quickly. We discussed and answered all my questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend!
