She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge and her Doctor of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences. She stands by her motto: ?Everybody's body is different.? It takes time to learn and understand what makes you unique. With her background in various sports such as dancing, fencing, and weightlifting, Joycelyn has a unique perspective on movement and understands the importance of preventing injuries so you can overcome any obstacle and achieve your goals. Having worked with all population types-from pre- and post-natal care, pediatrics, and athletes to those with chronic pain-Joycelyn is committed to the health and well-being of her clients by incorporating a ?whole person approach.? This includes combining manual techniques, movement, exercise, and continual patient education into personalized plans to help accelerate, achieve, and balance your goals, getting you back to doing what you love. When she is not in the clinic, you can find her working out, tending to her garden, or seeking new adventures with her boyfriend and her two corgis, Bulgogi and Yoyo.
