What should a new client know about working with you?

After our first session, you can expect a collaborative and comprehensive approach to addressing your mental health needs. We'll begin by discussing your current challenges, personal history, and any relevant medical information. I'll work to establish a trusting and non-judgmental relationship, allowing you to feel comfortable sharing your experiences. Following this initial assessment, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan together, outlining short-term and long-term goals tailored to your individual needs and preferences. Moving forward, I'll provide ongoing support and monitor your progress closely. Our sessions will involve a combination of therapeutic interventions, medication management if needed, and collaborative goal-setting. I encourage open communication, so we can regularly revisit and adjust our approach based on your evolving needs and progress. I aim to empower you with coping mechanisms, self-care strategies, and tools to navigate challenges independently. As we continue to work together over time, the focus will shift towards building resilience and fostering long-term well-being. We'll explore deeper aspects of your mental health, addressing underlying issues and developing a more nuanced understanding of your strengths and areas for growth. The goal is not only symptom relief but also enhancing your overall quality of life and promoting lasting positive change. Throughout our collaboration, my commitment is to support you on your journey toward mental health and personal growth, providing guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based care every step of the way. If you ever have questions or concerns, we'll address them together to ensure your comfort and progress.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
