He has several research papers on aortic disease and a book chapter in an important South American textbook called Valvular Heart Disease on Deep Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest. He has given lectures at International symposiums on Valvular and Aortic Disease. His career has led him to teach and train many students, residents and fellows. Dr. Montoya’s focus is now treating the causes of lower extremity vein disease using cutting edge treatments. In addition to his clinical excellence and experience, his established relationships with his patients have earned him many accolades among his patients, many of whom refer their family members, coworkers and friends, which is his biggest compliment. He serves a large Hispanic community as he is fluently bilingual.
