Great to meet you! Many people come to psychiatric care feeling overwhelmed, misdiagnosed, or unsure why they still don’t feel like themselves. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, and major life changes. With over 30 years of healthcare experience across Arizona and Kansas, I help patients make sense of what’s happening, understand their options, and build a clear, realistic plan so they can start feeling more stable, more in control, and more hopeful about their future. I am dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, Drake University) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (post-master’s certification from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Sinclair School of Nursing). This dual background allows me to understand both the medical and mental health sides of care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner my focus leans toward evaluating the need for medication management. Treatment has to look at the whole person mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to make this a shared experience with you the client.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll talk through your symptoms, history, and what you want to be different in your life. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical tools to improve your day-to-day life. My goal is for you to leave your appointment feeling understood & informed.
