What should a new client know about working with you?

I empower patients to take an active role in their plan of care. I support patient's preferences and guide them to decision-making that allows them to fully take control of their healthcare.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial evaluation consists of a general assessment, history taking, and developing a working relationship with the patient. It may include an initial diagnosis and a discussion of treatment options. If the patient is currently on medication, it may include refilling medication. May use talk therapy as needed, Follow up in one month for evaluation and discussion of the efficacy of current therapy and possible modification, if any. Referral as needed, monthly follow up for the first three months to stabilize patient, then may space follow up to two months then three months if the patient is stable. Follow-up appointments are individualized based on patients' needs and plans of care.
