About Judy Chan

I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2017. During that time, I have provided nutrition counseling and education in an outpatient setting for varying populations and ages. I studied and worked as a Chef before becoming a Registered Dietitian. These two perspectives have given me a great appreciation of food, nutrition, and its role in overall health and quality of life.
My approach to care is to meet each person where they are. I want to know the person and their expectations to help guide them to their goals. Each person is different and I want to work with the person to create their steps to achieve the change needed to reach thier health goals.
In our first session, it would be a get to know each other session. There would be talk about food, nutrition, and diet, but also to get a feel for each other's personality and communication style to develop a realtionship and environment that is comfortable for discussions to suppport reaching your health goals.
