"Judy Figueroa is an experienced Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 21 years of expertise in mental health care. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults facing challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, psychosis, stress, trauma, and PTSD. Judy believes that sharing and collaborating on treatment options empowers individuals to take an active role in their mental health journey.
Judy earned her degree from Rivier University in 2004 and has since gained extensive experience in various clinical settings. She began her career working with individuals in an intermediate care facility and later provided care for children at the Anna Philbrook Center. Her professional background includes treating co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, schizophrenia, PTSD, anxiety, and chronic depression.
Dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, Judy is committed to supporting people with disabilities, trauma survivors, and those managing chronic illnesses. She is particularly attuned to the needs of diverse populations, including African American, diasporic, and multicultural communities.
Outside of her work, Judy enjoys spending time with her puppy, Scooter, and taking walks on the beach. She values a balanced approach to well-being and strives to help her clients achieve greater stability and fulfillment in their lives."
