What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm a PMHNP-BC graduating magna cum laude in 2021 and a nurse since 1996. My expertise spans maternal-child health, public health, substance abuse, outpatient mental health, and telepsych. I treat various conditions including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar, ADHD, panic disorder, insomnia, schizophrenia, substance use, OCD, and PTSD to name a few.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, I’ll take time to understand your story—what brings you in, what challenges you’re facing, and what goals you have for your mental health. I’ll ask about your symptoms, medical history, past treatments, and any current medications. This helps me build a full picture so we can create a treatment plan that’s safe, effective, and tailored to you. I specialize in psychiatric evaluation and medication management. My approach is collaborative and compassionate—I want you to feel heard, respected, and empowered in your care. Follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes and focus on how you’re responding to treatment, any side effects, and adjustments we may need to make. Whether you’re new to psychiatric care or returning after a break, I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you toward better mental health.
