I originally booked an appointment with the doctor, but it was reassigned to a nurse practitioner, which I was perfectly comfortable with. However, I contacted the office on an urgent basis due to very concerning symptoms, including the passage of long worms and related symptoms. I was advised to take Miralax for constipation and told that parasitic infections are uncommon in the U.S., and that I would need a stool test — which I agreed to. She clearly did not listen to my concern nor was taking my issue seriously. repeating several times, she had to respond according to the FDA rule. In addition to that, there was no follow-up, and the prescription/order for the test was never sent. As a result, I was unable to go to Quest Diagnostics, obtain the sample kit, or proceed with testing. Given the urgency of the situation, the lack of follow-through was disappointing and left me without the care I needed at a critical moment.

One of the easiest drs appointments I’ve ever had. I got there early for paperwork and was taken and seen before I even had time to complete the paperwork - before my appointment even started - so 0 wait time! Julia was super nice, as was everyone who worked there.

Horrible do not recommend! Was contacted at 2pm asking if I can go in at 3 or 3:30 but I couldn’t as I was at work and couldn’t leave early. I asked if there is any way I can still be seen as I’ve been suffering with this pain for 1 to 2 weeks now. They said nothing was available just to then say that she can see me at 5pm. I rushed to the appointment and they called me again asking if I can get there earlier. Once there the person at the front desk said she would let the Julia know and I saw her knock and open the door to let her know I was here. They put me in a room to wait for her when I hear after 30mins , them whispering saying “how can you leave when you have a patient waiting?! She just left!” They then asked another doctor and he said “I can’t see him I’ve seen patients since 7am just tell him there was a problem”. So they came back and tried to blame it on me saying they told me she couldn’t see me! Horrible! I asked for refund. Also heard a lady ask for a refund too!

Appalling experience — avoid at all costs! I booked a same-day 5:30pm gastroenterology appointment with Julia Boroday and received confirmation at 3:46pm. After arriving, completing all paperwork, and paying for the visit, I was told the doctor was done for the day — even though she was still in the office and had chosen not to see me. I was in pain, desperate for care, and left with no treatment and no refund on the spot. Instead, they handed me a call center number and told me to follow up in two days. Absolutely unacceptable.

The offices were nice and clean and people were friendly. Even though that was the case it was one of the most bizarre and annoying and unprofessional experience. This is my first time coming to this doctor and office. I was originally scheduled for 5:30, the office called midday and asked if I could come in earlier which I said I could around 4:30 which they confirmed. I arrived at said time, checked in and then proceeded to wait until 5:20 to be seen by the provider. We started going over my medical history, medications etc. she mentioned an appendectomy on my chart, I still have my appendix. It was at that point that she realized she was looking at a different patients chart. She never confirmed my name. DOB etc before we started. We start the exam, I’m sitting on the table in a compromising position when someone starts to open the door, she forgot to lock it. Overall a series of weird unprofessional mistakes that don’t make me feel confident it’s a good reliable office at all.
Dr Julia was lovely! She was kind, friendly and very thorough and knowledgeable in GI issues. The office was nice and the staff was also great. Would definitely recommend!

Dr Julia Boroday is truly amazing. I cannot tell you how many doctors I have seen over the past few years about my issues and she is really my favorite. Today I had my appointment with her and I was just so happy by the way she answered every one of my questions and the way she made understood me. 10/10 bedside manner. She has so much Knowledge and I really feel like she cares and wants to help. I would recommend her to anyone I know and can trust that I am in good hands

Extremely professional and helpful!
Wonderful provider! She took the time to listen to my complicated history and complains, explained her thinking and potential ways of approaching the treatment after we do all the necessary tests. Julia came across as knowledgeable and caring. I felt heard, understood and well taken care of. I’m looking forward to figuring out and treating my gut issues.

Julia is INCREDIBLE. She is masterful at beside manner and made me feel comfortable. She listened carefully, was super knowledgable, and knew exactly how to take action. Do not hesitate in booking this doctor - you will not regret it!

Dr. Julia was great! She was very attentive, asked clear, detailed questions, and gave me good recommendations/follow-up schedule. Would definitely come back to her again :)
Dr. Julia was very kind and thorough. She explained everything well and before she did anything, which was very reassuring. Only snag was the first nurse couldn’t get my vein to take blood, but another nurse did just fine.
I have never visited a GI specialist and I was worried beyond imagination. I will have some tests completed and a game plan. She is an excellent listener and I have hope.
I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Julia Boroday. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine thoughtfulness. She's incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to really listen—not just to symptoms, but to concerns, questions, and even the small details that others might overlook. I really appreciate how efficiently they want to get to the heart of the issue, offering thoughtful and actionable solutions. It’s rare to find someone who is both highly proactive and deeply compassionate at the same time. I left feeling not just heard, but supported and confident in the next steps. Truly a five-star experience from soup to nuts—I can’t recommend Julia enough.
