About Julia Standefer
Welcome to healthcare by Board-Certified NP Julia Standefer through a holistic lens. I have over 10 years of experience in family practice. Virtually, I provide a wide range of medical care for adult women and men. Sanctuary Health offers a combined approach of conventional and functional medicine.
Serving clients in NY, FL, IL, CT, and AZ.
There is a better way for educated consumers of healthcare to access primary care. The challenge of accessing high-quality healthcare for a whole family is complex; this was my inspiration for offering virtual primary care.
As a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Family Nursing from Columbia University, and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, I can diagnose and treat a wide variety of primary care health conditions. I also hold a Bachelor's degree from Columbia University and another from The University of Texas at Austin.
As a mother and wife, I put family first. Each of my children's arrivals brought their own unique healthcare challenges! After my firstborn, I had a lactation consultant visit my home, which greatly improved my nursing experience. It left me with a lasting impression of the high-quality healthcare that is possible without the complication of involving insurance companies.
That experience planted the seed for this virtual practice-all without the hassle of travel or exposure to germs in waiting rooms.
