About Julie Bauer
Julie Bauer is a board-certified physician assistant licensed by the state of Arizona. We invite new and established patients to schedule appointments with Julie at our Shea office. Arriving 15 minutes early and completing the necessary paperwork helps ensure a smooth and efficient experience, allowing us to focus on delivering exceptional care tailored to your individual needs.
Julie completed her undergraduate education at Claremont McKenna College in southern California. She earned a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois. Julie's passion for dermatology began early, inspired by her father, Dr. Evan Bauer, a local retired dermatologist. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Arizona Dermatology Physician Assistant Society (ADPAS), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Julie believes in educating patients about their skin and values spending time with each individual to help them look and feel their best. She diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions, including but not limited to skin cancer, acne, rosacea, warts, psoriasis, and eczema. A Scottsdale local, Julie enjoys hiking, indoor cycling, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new restaurants. She and her husband welcomed their first child in September.

As soon as I got there, I checked in at the front desk. They were great. They had already seen everything I filled out prior, so I actually just had to give them my insurance cards and I was all set. Sat for short period of time maybe three minutes and my appointment began.

Easy to schedule an appointment for a skin check. Was able to get in to see Julie Bauer, PA a week after scheduling. Thorough skin check, Julie communicated throughout the exam in a clear, understandable manner. Froze a few spots that were suspicious.

I had cosmetic skin tags removed so that’s not covered by insurance. I knew that at the time I booked it and expected to pay out of pocket. Provider Julie Bauer and her medical assistant were excellent and addressed my concerns and treated areas properly. The. cost for procedure was reasonable.
