Getting to know Julie Belt

I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I love working with all age groups starting as young as 5 years and up. I have worked in multiple settings including acute care hospitals, corrections, juvenile corrections, adult psychiatric inpatient hospital, nursing homes, substance abuse centers, and outpatient clinic services. I provide medication management services for mental health disorders.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I typically take an integrative approach to care. I believe in treating my patient as a whole person. Nutrition and healthy life style habits are top priority. I am willing to communicate with other medical providers to ensure you the best mental health care possible.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I like to work with patients on setting and achieving attainable goals. Goals may include small steps toward mental health recovery or creating/maintaining healthy habits that can decrease stress and improve overall health.
