Julie Bergman, PMHNP, is a highly qualified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of professional experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University, followed by a Master’s in Adult Nursing from Maryville University. Julie further advanced her expertise with a Master’s in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix and completed a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at Regis College. As the founder and owner of GRACE MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES, INC, in Folsom, California, Julie’s primary goal is to help her patients reach their full potential physically, mentally, and emotionally to create the lives they have always wanted.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I provide medication management and therapy. I use CBT, ACT and mindfulness as my main therapy practices.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In-person new appt is 45min. Follow up appts are 30-45 min. In-person or telehealth. I use Doxy.me for telehealth.

To say the least, I am incredibly thankful that I discovered NP Julie's practice and decided to book an appointment with her. For the first time in way too long, I feel hopeful about my mental health & my mental health journey, and I can't thank Julie enough for the patience, respect, and professionalism she showed me. If more providers truly listened to their patients, and decided to speak TO/WITH them instead of AT them, the state of mental health would be very different, and more people who are suffering would seek support. Julie made me feel more heard and seen in one appointment than I had felt in very long. I had a very pleasant and friendly appointment with Psychiatiric N. P. Julie Bergman. She is a good listener and completely understood what I was trying to convey as my problems that I have been dealing with. She offered suggestions, verbally and sent them to me via text, to help with my anxiety and depression. We agreed on my current medication as being appropriate for my current mental status. She accepts my medicare and supplemental health insurance. I will be doing a follow-up appointment in the future. I recommend her to anyone looking for a calm, considerate, and helpful Psychiatiric Nurse Practitioner.
