What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you request your appointment, you will be sent an invite link for Brightside Health. You will need to enter your insurance and payment information to confirm your appointment.During your initial consultation we will craft a treatment plan personalized to your needs, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. You will also be able message me directly at anytime via the messaging section of your Brightside Health portal - a tool where will also track your progress, access resources, and see your treatment plan details.*Please note: If you are looking for ADHD care, I do not prescribe controlled medications like Adderall or Ritalin. However, we can support you with therapy and other medications commonly used in ADHD treatment, such as Strattera and Intuniv.*

The doctor is fine, however the platform BrightSide was a disappointing experience I can’t recommend. I needed a prescription refill urgently because was experiencing withdrawal symptoms. During the video call I told the doctor my home and pharmacy address. But next day I visited pharmacy to pick up but nothing there. BrightSide said they couldn’t send a prescription because my account settings didn’t have an address. So I replied and they updated it. Next day I visited pharmacy again but still nothing. Forgotten or ignored. It’s unreasonable the basic task of sending a prescription can’t be done just because it wasn’t entered in my settings, even tho I told the doctor. After my reply, the team should send it asap, but was forgotten/ignored.
