What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe that every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with respect. During our first visit, I take the time to understand your concerns, symptoms, goals, and personal circumstances so we can develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and other mental health concerns. My goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to help patients improve their overall quality of life and emotional well-being. Patients can expect a judgment-free environment where they feel comfortable discussing their concerns openly. I work closely with each individual to make informed treatment decisions and support them throughout their mental health journey. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and welcome patients from diverse backgrounds.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, where I take the time to understand your symptoms, medical history, mental health history, lifestyle, and treatment goals. This allows me to develop an accurate diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring progress, reviewing symptoms, evaluating medication effectiveness, managing side effects, and making adjustments when necessary. I also provide supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and practical coping strategies to help patients better manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. I believe in a collaborative approach to care and encourage patients to actively participate in treatment decisions. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. Appointments are available both in person and through telehealth for added convenience and accessibility.
