What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to provide a respectful, supportive, and collaborative environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns. During your first visit, I will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, review your medical and psychiatric history, and discuss evidence-based treatment options. If medication is appropriate, I will explain the benefits, risks, and alternatives so you can make informed decisions about your care. I value open communication, monitor your progress closely, and adjust your treatment plan as your needs evolve.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your initial appointment, I conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to understand your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and treatment goals. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication, behavioral strategies, lifestyle modifications, or referral for psychotherapy when appropriate. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring your progress, evaluating treatment effectiveness and side effects, and adjusting your plan as needed. I incorporate supportive therapy and psychoeducation into medication management visits and collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
