He completed an residency and fellowship at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). In practice since 1996, Dr. Kamal is board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology. He specializes in pain management, particularly complex pain, and treats adult patients ages 18 and older. He speaks Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and Spanish. In addition to his clinical practice, he has served as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
