About Dr. June Halsey
June C. Halsey, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon practicing general and pediatric orthopedics in Southampton and Riverhead. Her practice focuses on managing adult and pediatric musculoskeletal conditions, orthopedic trauma and fracture care, sports injuries, and adult reconstructive surgeries.
Dr. Halsey earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University with magna cum laude honors. She returned to Georgetown for medical school, graduating in 2011 as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, in 2016. During residency, Dr. Halsey completed an intensive orthopedic trauma program at Brown University’s Rhode Island Hospital.
Dr. Halsey also received a diploma for her advanced training in joint replacements from the world-acclaimed New England Baptist Hospital. Prior to joining Long Island Bone and Joint, she completed fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at NYU Orthopedics (NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases) to provide expert care for children and adults alike.
Her expertise includes the nonoperative and operative treatments of pediatric fractures, hip dysplasia, cerebral palsy, limb deformity, clubfoot, and scoliosis.

We have seen Doctor Halsey before and we like her. She is quiet and friendly and of course she knows is when we show up because my son has been before. Everyone is nice I’m the office and helpful.
