Justin, a New York University-trained Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing and Co-Founder, brings almost a decade of experience in psychiatric and addiction medicine to his practice. His professional journey has included serving as the Associate Medical Director for Phoenix House NY/LI for two years and as the Director of Nursing for the same institution for three years. With over eight years of experience in addiction medicine, Justin has worked extensively in outpatient detox and residential care facilities throughout New York State. He is also actively involved in community outreach, conducting Narcan Trainings in NYC to help combat the current opioid crisis in the United States.

Justin's therapeutic approach is informed by his training in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). His approach is characterized by kindness and compassion, which serves as the foundation of his therapeutic interactions. What is your typical process for working with clients?
Justin's practice provides a broad array of empathetic, judgment-free psychiatric services to individuals aged 14 and older. He specializes in substance use disorder and a range of co-morbid psychiatric disorders, including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety disorders (GAD, Panic Disorder, Phobias), Bi-polar disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Insomnia.
