I’m a family medicine physician at Memorial Primary Care, where I care for patients with a wide range of everyday and chronic conditions, including diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and depression. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by the complexity and intricacy of the human body. I chose primary care because I enjoy being my patients' first point of contact, addressing health concerns as soon as they arise. I also work as a team captain, helping coordinate care and ensuring patients see the right specialists when needed. I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed residencies in Internal Medicine at Arnot Ogden Medical Center and in Family Medicine at Larkin Community Hospital, which have equipped me with a broad and comprehensive foundation in patient care. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is building long-term relationships with my patients. I love working together to find solutions to their health problems, especially when we can solve something they’ve struggled with for years. My approach to healthcare is holistic. What you do for work, how you spend your free time, and even your emotional well-being are just as important as your lab results. By taking the time to understand your personal life, we can see how those elements impact your health and your ability to consistently follow a care plan. In addition to caring for patients, I also enjoy mentoring the next generation of doctors. I’ve had the privilege of serving as faculty at several medical schools and training many residents as their attending physician.

Most relevant
Doctor didn’t ask me any in-depth questions as a NEW paitient. Told me they didn’t offer tests my prior PCP had ordered for me. My blood pressure, was in the 130s and the nurse assistant said that was good? Doesn’t make sense. Told me to do blood work and would see me in 6 weeks for a video conference follow up. HUGE disappointment. Didn’t feel like the doctor really took anytime to really get to mood my health profile or showed genuine concern.
