Whale Hello! I'm Kahesha, a quirky, bubbly Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (who loves my job) and founder of Apotheosis Psychiatry. I have an innate desire to connect with other people, hear their unique stories, and help, I have always been a helper. Life path! Although we are going through a (very) strange time in modern society, I genuinely believe that human connection is the most crucial key to life survival, and when experiences and thoughts alter our perception of our connections, it's adding more fuel to an already burning inferno. We have also had major changes in brain composition and development over the years, so our brains are even functioning differently than decades past. I created Apotheosis because I believe people deserve full transparency and to be given information on all available options that are open and available to them, especially when it comes to mental health and their brain function. I am one bridge between various care models and modalities being used in psychiatry today. More importantly, I want you to truly understand, in layman's terms, what is happening within your own brain. I work with kiddos, teens, and adults who are experiencing a variety of challenges, including ADHD (my specialty), anxiety, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), PTSD, sleep disorders, and OCD. I also offer psychotherapy alongside medication management, specifically CBT, DBT, and ACT. Mindfulness and meditation are core features of my own growth, so you will hear me preach about the importance of their uses. My journey into mental health care was deeply personal, navigating my son's autism diagnosis. I want to give you the type of compassionate care I received and have a professional friend alliance that feels anything like formal garb. Together, we will create a personalized, judgment-free treatment plan that aligns with your beliefs and goals so you can live the fulfilling life you desire. I look forward to meeting you soon!
