About Dr. Kailash Sharma
Please Note: I only accept pediatric patients with sleep issues and lung diseases.
Dr. Sharma earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College. He completed fellowships in Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Rush University. He holds board certifications from India, England, Ireland, and the United States. Besides specializing in sleep, critical care, and pulmonary medicine, Dr. Sharma has extensive experience managing diabetes, gastroenterology, rheumatology, and cardiology patients. His training reflects what might more appropriately be called a “comprehensive internist.” Several of Dr. Sharma’s writings have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Receiving medical training on three continents has given him a unique skill set. Most importantly, he loves being a physician. He loves his patients and stays up to date with the latest advances in medicine, making him the best choice for your health care needs.

I just found Dr. Sharma recently while looking or a sleep specialist and I must say I'm very happy thus far. He's a very personable guy with an open mind and training/schooling from all over the world. Last week I had an 8:30am appointment to draw blood and I was in my car by 8:39am. Doesn't get any more efficient that that!

Dr. Sharma is very good. He gives ample time to listen to all the symptoms, sees the tests and then diagnoses the problem accurately.
His sleep care center is excellent with very comfortable beds and good rooms, better than the big hospitals.

My visit with Dr. Sharma was good, cut to the chase & informative. The wait was just a bit long but it’s probably because he have a lot of reoccurring patients. I’m a new patient & my check up was pretty simple. I do recommend this office and him. I’ll be back in a year for my next check up.

I live by the mantra if you do not have anything nice to say, why say anything at all. Hence, my hesitancy about writing a review in the first place. However, I would like to contend that Dr. Sharma was pleasant in nature, thorough albeit brief, and professional. However, there is little to say about his support staff. The gentleman at the front desk at the Frankfort location blatantly ignored me as he held a conversation w/ another patient regarding food & restaurants. It wasn't until another patient waiting to be seen told him to assist me. Go figure! The female medical assistant however was very pleasant! Today, I decided to no longer return back to the location for any services due to a brief conversation w/ an unprofessional medical billing clerk, Dawn Husa. It is unfortunate that the support staff, not the doctor has influenced my decision to never return.

Dr. Kailash is truly an amazing person. He gets to know you on a more personal level and understands how you feel right away. His diagnosis was spot on, and then the treatment was awesome. I have hypertension as well as anxiety. For the last 14 months, Dr Sharma has told me that he has been practicing meditation with some of his patients.
I 100% wanted to try it, and had the time to, and sure enough, I could almost feel as if my blood pressure went down a bit (we didn’t check) but I knew my pulse had slowed down greatly from my arrival.
Overall I would give 10 stars and a definite referral to anyone seeking a great doctor.

I brought all my files and MRI and diagnostics and he still gave me nothing, this guy should not be a doctor. He has know idea what he is doing. He took the medicine I have been taking for 10 years away from me even though I had all the paperwork. He should not be a doctor

Dr.Sharma made me feel so welcome and really look his time to understand what I came in there for. He made me feel that all of my concerns were valid. If you get nervous when you go to the doctor he is the one to go to! He made me laugh and was very lighthearted. The entire office was just as friendly. Wait time was over an hour and a half even though I was early to my appointment but it seemed a bit busy. I still will 100% be back!

Dr. Sharma was very nice and understood everything I was saying. He is truly a great doctor. My knee had been hurting for 2 weeks and he gave me a shot and I felt a lot better. I could actually walk on it without feeling pain. Another reason why I think he is awesome, he didn't have patients before the time I could make it and he still waited. I got there at 6:25pm and he usually leaves at 6:30pm. I think that was really nice of him. He was friendly and answered all my questions. Took time to listen rather than a 10 minute visit... Totally recommend this doc. A++
