About Kaitlin Wilson

Kaitlin “Katie” Wilson is a North Carolina native who earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from North Carolina State University. Katie is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. Her passion for dermatology began when she worked as a medical assistant in general dermatology and Mohs surgery before entering PA school. Before joining Summit, Katie treated patients at a dermatology practice in Clinton, NC. She is enthusiastic about patient education and is happy to answer any questions about your dermatological care. Her practice includes, but is not limited to, acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, dysplastic nevus, actinic keratoses, and warts. She also practices cosmetic dermatology, including neurotoxins. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and her sweet Goldendoodle Ollie, going for walks on the beach, working out, and traveling. She is taking new patients in our Hampstead location.
