Growing up, I watched my mother work as a nurse. Her dedication and compassion left a lasting impression on me. Seeing her impact inspired me to go into medicine so I could make a similar difference in people's lives. Specifically, I saw a need to help women across all of life's stages. That is why I became a women's health nurse practitioner. Women often face unique health challenges. I am passionate about empowering women to understand those challenges, and providing them with care that respects their individual needs and experiences. I am fortunate to have found a meaningful and fulfilling specialty where I can contribute to improving both individual lives and broader community health outcomes. No two patients are the same, so I take the time to understand each person's unique needs, concerns and goals before working with them to developing any needed care plan. I want patients to feel heard, respected and comfortable asking questions. I am thorough and advocate for each patient's best interest, just as I would for my own family member. My goal is not only to treat illness, but to build lasting relationships that promote long-term health and trust. My family is a big part of who I am away from medicine. My husband, Corbin, and I enjoy spending as much time as we can together outdoors. We make the most of our free time playing pickleball, going fishing or walking our beloved yellow lab, Camden.
