What should a new client know about working with you?

A session with me is gentle, grounded, and collaborative. You can expect a calm, supportive environment where we tune into your emotions, thoughts, and bodily experiences at your pace. Some sessions may involve insight and reflection, while others may include somatic awareness or trauma-informed processing. Always, we move with care and respect for where you are in your journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I hold both a Master’s and PhD from Adler University and serve as an AAMFT-approved supervisor and individual supervisor at Northwestern University. My background includes extensive work with trauma, relational challenges, grief, and emotional dysregulation. I bring a trauma-informed perspective to every session, combining professional rigor with deep emotional presence. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique needs, including: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Internal Family Systems (IFS) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Somatic Experiencing Systems Theory Attachment Theory My greatest passion is helping people feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal. I am especially drawn to helping clients reconnect with themselves after seasons of disconnection, hurt, or emotional overwhelm. I believe therapy can be a sacred space where your most vulnerable parts are welcomed—not rushed or fixed, but honored—and slowly integrated into a fuller, freer way of living.
