About Kara Nicholas

Kara's passion for science, even in high school, eventually led her to a Nutrition and Dietetics major, and the rest is history! Her several year experience in a hospital setting provided exposure to a variety of clinical conditions and ultimately led her become a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, specializing in IV and feeding tube nutrition. Her passions and interests lie in wellness, health promotion and empowering others to be their best self. Her clinical interests include, but are not limited to weight management, cardiac health, digestive disease, and nutrition for general health and wellness. Kara believes in empowering others with education and knowledge, while respecting their foundations and background in order to make realistic changes. Kara graduated from University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics, which allowed her to pursue a dietetic internship at University of Connecticut. Upon obtaining her RD degree, she furthered her career with a Master of Education degree in Health Promotion from Bridgewater State University. She is currently a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. Kara enjoys traveling, reading, seeking out and trying new coffee shops and making Sourdough bread!
